Michael Banzon Santos
Mike Santos is a Professor of Physics and the Charles L. Blackburn Chair in Engineering Physics at the University of Oklahoma, where he has worked since 1993. He earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Materials Science from Cornell University (1986) and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University (1992). In 1992-1993, he was a postdoctoral researcher at AT&T Bell Laboratories in Holmdel, New Jersey. During a sabbatical leave in 2000-2001, he was an Invited Professor at NTT Basic Research Laboratories in Japan. In 2012, he was elected as a Fellow of the American Physical Society. He has co-authored more than 200 papers on experimental semiconductor research.
